Digging in the water in front of the smaller shipyards in Zipa
Ancona Port, to restore the beds.
The work involved three types of dredging and conferment, depending on the type of materials found in the
different areas and depths.
Selective controlled dredging, with controlled discharge in a special area on land;
Dredging and discharge in the sea.
Both performed with vessels equipped with cable excavators with total closing dual-valve buckets.
Selective dredging with suction dredger equipped with piping for flow back of the material into
the filling tank.
The vessels used were equipped with mooring and stability pylons and precision DGPS positioning and
